It is my understanding that figure
skating coach, Sue Susic Ervin is being considered for
|
|
nomination to the Wisconsin Sports Hall
of Fame. As I am a former parent of a skater, who was
|
|
coached by Sue Susic Ervin, I have a
few words I would like to say. |
|
I feel that Sue has brought figure
skating alive in the Milwaukee area. Until Sue started coaching in
Milwaukee there was no interest in achieving a Gold Medal from USFSA. With
her diligent pursuit she encouraged several students to achieve their Gold
Metal in both figures and freestyle. |
|
Several of her students went on to
skate as professionals for ice shows as well as also becoming figure
skating coaches. |
