Dear Sue,
You are
such a tremendous leader and positive role model for the sport of figure
skating, not only in Wisconsin but nationwide. Your love for the sport is
obvious, your dedication is endless. A staunch competitor and now a world
class coach, you have given so much of your heart and soul to the sport
you love so dearly. It is my honor to congratulate you on your nomination
into the Wisconsin Sports Hall of Fame.
Not many people can say
that their personal life and their professional life are beautifully
intertwined. But Sue, you can, and you do it so gracefully. Your family is
the skating community here in Wisconsin, and my, has your family
successfully grown!
Sue, you should be quite proud of your
accomplishments. I am sure Bonnie Blair,
Dianne Holum, Jane Pettit and Shirley Martin would all be proud to share a
spot in the Hall with you.
